Gion Matsuri

This poster series was created to support the annual Gion Matsuri in Japan. The Gion Matsuri is one of the biggest festivals Japan has to offer and I wanted to create posters to inform Japanese natives and foreigners traveling about the festivies. The patterns used were created and inspired from traditional Japanese motifs found in furniture and clothing.
